This hammered copper Dish is approximately 8.5cm wide and 1.5cm deep.
Hammered from a recycled piece of immersion tank, it's perfect for keeping keys, jewellery, crystals or trinkets in!
The copper is pure and untreated, and therefore will react with any liquids you put in it. If used for food, its very important to wash and dry the metal thoroughly between uses, preferably with a metal scourer, to avoid accidental consumption of copper by-products. Dry goods like spices or nuts are fine. Equally, it would work well as a spoon/tea bag rest.
Being natural and untreated, the surface of the metal will oxidise over time, and with use, turning a darker colour. You can easily pollish the shine back with some Brasso.
