Each of these charming leaf pendants is made from copper, reclaimed from a recycled immersion tank!
The beautiful colours of in the metal come from burning the leaves very gently with a flame, to oxidise the copper and bring out the different tones.
Each leaf is then varnished to preserve the colours, so you don't need to worry about it oxidising any further.
The process of flame patina is a chaotic one, so whilst I'm confident that each one will come out well, I can never make two exactly the same. I always think of it like fiery tie-dye!
Whilst I make every effort to ensure that each peice is of the same standard, please be aware that you will not receive the exact pendants from the photos. The small variations between each leaf are what makes handmade jewellery special.
There are two options to choose from, whether the leaf is widest at the top, or widest at the bottom. See the photos for the difference.
Each pendant is approximately 5.5cm tall, on a 20" brass Figaro chain.
